The family law department covers the complete range of family law issues, and our team is specialized and experienced in resolving disputes arising after marriage, including divorce, alimony, settlement of property disputes, parental custody and guardianship, parental communication rights with their children, adoption, recognition of paternity, the right to surrogacy, the application of the Hague Convention on international child abduction, and other related matters.

Family law is one of the many specialties where our law firm has extensive experience. We often handle family disputes involving persons from other countries, dealing with complex cross-border issues. Our office deals with various cases and has handled a huge number of cases before the Family Courts and the Supreme Court.

Furthermore, we provide legal advice before marriage on various issues, which usually include the client's pre-marital assets and the drafting of prenuptial agreements. We encourage our clients to understand how to avoid risks and prevent problems that may arise in case of disagreements. We also advise clients interested entering into a civil union/partnership or civil marriage in Cyprus.
