Our office's labor law team comprises lawyers with extensive experience in handling labor law matters, each specializing in different aspects of the field.

Taking into consideration the individual needs of each business, we provide legal advice to our clients, offering legal guidance and keeping them informed about legislative provisions. The aim is to establish internal procedures within their enterprises for a more effective handling of labor disputes and prevention within the workplace. Additionally, we offer legal advice on the interpretation and implementation of European regulations and directives related to all aspects of employment, whether provided in the Republic of Cyprus or involving remote work.

We have successfully undertaken legal representation before the Labour Court for both employees and employers. Specifically, representing employees who filed lawsuits seeking recognition of their rights for the conversion of their employment contracts to indefinite duration, we obtained interim injunctions to safeguard our clients' interests from unlawful termination and secured summary judgments. Representing employers, we have successfully demonstrated the legality of their actions in cases of employee termination justified by legitimate reasons and redundancy conditions in corresponding instances.

Furthermore, we have handled cases related to workplace harassment and intimidation, protecting our clients from various unlawful actions by their employers.

Within the scope of our services, we engage in drafting employment contracts and various documents related to employment, tailored to the specific needs of each business. We have also handled the drafting of agreements related to the transfer of contributions on behalf of Provident Funds of institutional organizations, providing legal advice on the operation of these funds, as well as for the purpose of incorporating members and formulating the relevant declarations and agreements signed by the members.

Additionally, our office offers legal advice, opinions, and support to third-country nationals seeking employment or intending to establish their businesses in Cyprus. We provide personalized assistance on a case-by-case basis and maintain continuous communication with the Immigration Department and other relevant authorities, facilitating the acquisition of all necessary work permits in Cyprus, including work licenses for specific categories applicable to third-country nationals.
