The EK Recoveries team has established a specialized department, which handles all kind of debt collection cases and/or debt collection for unsecured loans. 

Our dedicated team handles debt collection cases and takes all necessary enforcement measures with the aim of prompt debt recovery, prioritizing the client’s instructions, such as; proceeding with writs of movables, the lodging of memos to the Land Registry, applications for search to collect the debt with monthly installments and/or private criminal procedures for defrauding of creditors.

Our services, inter alia, include, legal review of each case, negotiation with the debtors/parties to reach an out-of- court settlement and proceeding with enforcement measures. Specifically:

• Legal review of cases, legal proceedings, and provision of legal advice regarding available enforcement measures.
• Specialized analysis of potential risks and evaluation of each case.
• Negotiation with the related parties to explore the possibility of an out-of-court settlement.
• Establishment of a call center and direct communication with parties/debtors.
• Drafting all necessary legal documents and preparing settlement agreements.
• In cases, where the parties are not cooperative or negotiations and out-of-court settlements are not viable, we are advising accordingly our clients regarding available enforcement measures. Proceeding with writ of movables, applications for search to collect the debt with monthly installments and private criminal procedures for defrauding of creditors.

In 2022, we initiated a debt-recovery project involving a complex portfolio by offering a range of advisory services tailored to the specific need of our clients by incorporating innovative techniques and ideas, with exceptional results.
