Restructuring

A key aspect of the sector's activities is the processing of credit facility restructurings, assessing the characteristics of each case and offering solutions tailored to the needs and goals of our clients. We aim for substantive communication and negotiation, preparation of restructuring and settlement agreements, and provision of specialized analysis of potential risks in each case. Our constant update on modern legal and economic tools allows us to offer the convenience of integrated advice.

The sector has significant experience in drafting Debt for Asset Swap (DFAS) agreements and in overseeing all steps until the implementation of the stages of an agreement, advising our clients and handling the entire process.

Foreclosures

Additionally, the sector specializes in matters of foreclosures stemming from Part VIA of the law on the Transfer and Mortgage of Real Estate (Law No. 9/1965). Expertise in the spectrum of foreclosures, continuous monitoring of legislation, systematic study of jurisprudential developments, handling a plethora of cases before the courts related to the general framework of foreclosures, and active involvement in practical issues of Part VIA ensure the best possible representation and defense of the interests of our firm’s clients.
